Abstract

This chapter highlights aims to provide a comprehensive guide to making an application to an EU-funded project call and how to implement a project successfully if funding is awarded. The guidance provided is informed by our insights gained over the last 30 years in EU-funded project management. We use ‘real-world’ examples (in particular, an Erasmus Plus funded project—SSTeMM) to illustrate specific points, highlight common, and not so common problems, and how to manage them. The chapter also provides some definitions of terms commonly used throughout the book.
