Abstract

Clearly, distinct innovation projects take different lengths of time to stimulate genesis, hone conceptualisation, move through reliable realisation, and then achieve effective commercialisation — all depending on a great number of issues. Outlined here is a method for the quantification of specific uncertainty contained within different categories of innovation, enabling a relative estimation for project cycle times.
