Abstract

Production function specifies the output of a firm, an industry, or an entire economy, explained by some inputs, like capital, various raw materials and labor. This function presupposes a technological relationship among the factors of production, which influences decision making within an economic organization. However, this apparent technological relationship or production function is devoid of the most important factor composing the economic system, i.e., management.
