The Need to Read

In: Shaping the Future of Business Education

Abstract

Traditionally, business education has had a narrow focus. Students learn a specific set of skills that enables them to enter the corporate world and help their employers function effectively, i.e., help them make money. In turn, they will be rewarded — with money. But today’s world is fraught with complexity and constant, rapid change — environmental, economic, technological, and social — and businesses are looking for more from their employees.
