Abstract

In a context of tense agricultural negotiations at the WTO, Geographical Indications (GIs) are subject to intense bargaining. The way European and American standpoints can (or cannot) be conciliated affect the future of the products themselves, but also of the development potential of entire regions and the way they integrate into the world economy.
