Abstract

In discussing the causes of the Crash and those that lead to low engagement among workers, we have deliberately left out what we believe to be the elephant in the room, the common thread that runs between them, the ego. This is such a big subject, and one that is not covered frequently enough as a driver of all kinds of things at work, none of them good. Just like the unfortunate people who embody too much of this particular trait, the ego deserves special attention!
