Abstract

In Chapter 1 we saw how business management in recent decades has been dominated by a series of dominant values. These values represent for the most part the conception we have of the company today; companies with clear separation between management and ownership, based on management procedures that are rational and scientific. In this chapter we will look at the historical roots of these dominant values and then examine to what extent diversity has played a part in the development of a new vision of business.
