Abstract

Gracia Cardador has a degree in Journalism from Madrid’s Complutense University and a Masters in Management Development from the IESE Business School in Madrid, Spain. She began her career working for the Televisión Española TV company and joined the Grupo Recoletos media company in 1989 as a journalist for Actualidad Económica. In 1996 she joined the editorial team of the Expansión daily business newspaper and since then has undertaken various roles within the group. In 2000 she was appointed as director of contents of the Argentinean daily business newspaper El Cronista, which also belongs to the Recoletos group, and she was actively involved in overhauling its design and relaunching it. She also took on responsibility for the magazines Apertura and Information Technology. Since January 2003, she has been editor-in-chief of Expansión, with additional responsibilities for overseeing the process of editorial coordination and integration of all the Recoletos group’s business information services: the daily newspaper Expansión, Expansion.com, Expansion TV and Actualidad Económica. Since 2004 she has been editor of Actualidad Económica.
