Abstract

En esta parte, se explica la intervención del gobierno en los mercados de servicios de salud. Es muy importante contar con un sistema de salud que garantice niveles adecuados de salubridad al menor costo posible. En efecto, la evidencia empírica demuestra que existe una relación positiva entre salud y crecimiento económico, y la causalidad va en ambas direcciones.
