Abstract

Does diversity among board members impact entrepreneurial activities? By integrating discussions on diversity and boards, we debate this question by leaning on three entrepreneurial resource perspectives: dynamic capabilities, absorptive capacity and ambidexterity. Diversity is not only something that exists. We show how diversity must be used to achieve corporate entrepreneurship and value creation. In utilizing these three perspectives as moderators, we show how diversity can contribute to corporate entrepreneurship. Our attention in this chapter is on job-related diversity
