Abstract

En 1997 Colombia fue catalogada como uno de los cinco países más corruptos del mundo, a partir de ese momento el estudio y los esfuerzos por combatir este flagelo en Colombia se intensificaron. Partiendo de las cifras derivadas de los procesos de responsabilidad fiscal el presente documento busca aproximarse a este flagelo teniendo en cuenta la relación existente entre corrupción y gestión fiscal. En la segunda parte se realiza un análisis exploratorio espacial de los indicadores departamentales de riesgo de corrupción de los organismos de control.
