Deutschlands nächste Unternehmergeneration: Eine empirische Untersuchung der Einstellungen, Werte und Zukunftspläne

Abstract

Die Studie 'Deutschlands nächste Unternehmergeneration' ist ein langfristig angelegtes Forschungsprojekt, innerhalb dessen regelmäßig deutschlandweit umfassende Datenerhebungen vom Friedrichshafener Institut für Familienunternehmen | FIF der Zeppelin Universität im Auftrag der Stiftung Familienunternehmen durchgeführt werden. 357 Vertreter der nachrückenden Unternehmergeneration zwischen 16 und 40 Jahren haben an der jüngsten Aktualisierung der Studienreihe teilgenommen. Die Befragung ist damit die umfangreichste Erhebung unter potenziellen Nachfolgern in Familienunternehmen im deutschsprachigen Raum. Ein Schwerpunkt der vorliegenden Erhebung liegt auf der Frage, wie die nächste Generation die Digitalisierung im Unternehmen angehen wird. So sind zwar nur 28 Prozent mit dem Stand der Digitalisierung im elterlichen Betrieb zufrieden, jedoch vertrauen sie auch im Zuge der digitalen Transformation auf die Stärken im eigenen Unternehmen. Im engen Kontakt mit Kunden wollen sie die Chancen der Digitalisierung nutzen.
