Abstract

[...] In Kapitel 2 wird zunächst das Untersuchungskonzept vorgestellt. In Kapitel 3 werden braunkohlespezifische Strukturdaten aufgeführt, um die Entwicklung des Braunkohlesektors in Deutschland zu skizzieren. In den Kapiteln 4 bis 7 werden dann im Rahmen von Regionalprofilen die vier deutschen Braunkohleregionen in Hinblick auf ihr unabhängig vom Braunkohlesektor bestehendes wirtschaftliches Potenzial und ihre Innovationsfähigkeit untersucht. Kapitel 8 schließt die Studie mit einer Gesamtschau der erzielten Befunde ab.
