Abstract

Das Jahrbuch "Österreichs Außenwirtschaft 2007" berichtet ausführlich über die Entwicklung der globalen und der österreichischen Außenwirtschaft und nimmt dabei einen umfassenden Standpunkt ein. So werden die drei Bereiche der Außenwirtschaft – Warenhandel, Handel mit Dienstleistungen und ausländische Direktinvestitionen – sowohl einzeln detailliert als auch in ihren Zusammenhängen untereinander analysiert. Darüber hinaus widmet sich das Buch aktuellen Fragen zur Integration der Weltwirtschaft – wie z. B. Handel und Entwicklung –, zum aktuellen Stand und zu den Aussichten für die Doha-Runde der multilateralen Freihandelsverhandlungen sowie zur Energieabhängigkeit Europas. Eine umfangreiche Übersicht über die für Österreich relevante wissenschaftliche Literatur mit Quellenverzeichnis (einschließlich aktueller Internet-Links zu den einzelnen Veröffentlichungen) rundet die Publikation ab.
