Abstract

BCF 2018 is the first of its kind Bulgarian-Chinese Forum on International Cluster Policies. It marks the beginning of a series of events related to the development of partnership relations between Bulgaria and China in the field of tourism, information and communication technologies, quality of life and educational policies. The main focus of the event is the cooperation between Bulgarian and Chinese companies, organisations and institutions through the establishment of international cluster links and collaborations. The Forum is in line with the EU-China 2018 tourism initiative, China's One Belt One Road Initiative, and the 16 + 1 Initiative between CEE countries and China. Fourteen papers were presented in three panels: tourism, digitisation and education. BCF2018 aims to stimulate new investment opportunities both in the European Union and China and to serve as a platform for business, trade facilitation and investment to build reliable partnerships.
