Abstract

En esta monografía, se describe el funcionamiento del sistema español de pensiones de la Seguridad Social y se estudia su impacto sobre el comportamiento laboral de las personas de edad superior a los 55 años. Su objetivo principal es aclarar, analítica y cuantitativamente, el efecto que el diseño actual del sistema público de pensiones ejerce sobre la oferta laboral de los trabajadores mayores de esa edad y sobre sus decisiones de jubilación.
