Educación técnica y formación profesional en Perú

Abstract

Uno de los principales desafíos en América Latina es cerrar la brecha existente entre la oferta y la demanda de capacitación técnica: como muestra de ello, 35% de las empresas a nivel global tienen problemas para llenar vacantes por escasez de talentos. En la región, este porcentaje alcanza al 39% de las empresas. Resulta imprescindible formar capital humano con las competencias necesarias para que pueda resolver los problemas del futuro y se adapte de manera ágil y flexible a las nuevas tecnologías. En este sentido, resulta indispensable establecer sistemas de prospectiva laboral a través de análisis detallados de los perfiles ocupacionales por competencias requeridos en la actualidad. Así mismo, resulta de gran relevancia promover alianzas público-privadas que permitan generar los incentivos adecuados para la participación activa del sector privado. De igual forma, se hace necesario responder con mayor pertinencia a las demandas productivas de los países, para lo cual el trabajo con sectores productivos en regiones específicas es de suma importancia.
