Demand for Skilled Labour in the Presence of High-level Unemployment

Abstract

Der in jüngster Zeit offensichtlich gewordene Fachkräftemangel im Bereich der Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologien hat unter anderem dazu geführt, daß ein Konzept für die arbeitsmarktorientierte Zuwanderungspolitik entwickelt werden soll. Mit der Zuwanderung aus Arbeitsmarktgründen können sowohl kurz- und mittelfristige Mismatchsituationen überwunden als auch langfristige Ziele wie die Steigerung der wirtschaftlichen Dynamik oder Verringerung der Alterung der Gesellschaft verfolgt werden.
