Index der Erzeugerpreise gewerblicher Produkte (Inlandsabsatz) auf Basis 2021

Abstract

Der Index der Erzeugerpreise gewerblicher Produkte (Inlandsabsatz) wird in der Regel im Rhythmus von fünf Jahren auf eine neue Basis umgestellt, grundlegend überarbeitet und durch die neuen Ergebnisse revidiert. Dabei werden Warenkorb, Wägungsschema sowie Berichtsstellen- und Preisrepräsentantenstichprobe auf Grundlage eines neuen Basisjahres ermittelt. Bei der aktuellen Indexrevision wurde auf das Basisjahr 2021 umgestellt. Die revidierten Ergebnisse auf neuer Basis 2021 = 100 wurden im März 2024 veröffentlicht. Der Beitrag beschreibt die methodischen Arbeiten zur Basisjahrumstellung sowie die wichtigsten Neuerungen und Veränderungen seit der letzten Basisumstellung. Abschließend werden Unterschiede zwischen den Ergebnissen auf der neuen und der alten Basis 2015 = 100 analysiert.
