Schnellschätzung des Außenhandels in den Volkswirtschaftlichen Gesamtrechnungen: ein ökonometrischer Ansatz

Abstract

Dieser Aufsatz beschreibt eine ergänzende, ökonometrische Rechnung für den Außenhandel in den Volkswirtschaftlichen Gesamtrechnungen, die Frühindikatoren verwendet und in die Schnellschätzung des Bruttoinlandsprodukts nach t+30 Tagen einfließt. Die Qualitätsbeurteilung der ökonometrischen Modelle erfolgt durch den Vergleich der geschätzten Werte mit den aus der Außenhandelsstatistik vorliegenden Daten seit 2016. Damit ist es möglich, die Qualität der Schätzwerte in verschiedenen Konjunkturzyklen zu testen, auch bereits während des Wirtschaftseinbruchs im Zuge der COVID-19-Pandemie. Die geringen Abweichungen deuten darauf hin, dass die Berücksichtigung zusätzlicher Datenquellen zu einer qualitativen Verbesserung der geschätzten Werte der Exporte und Importe von Waren führen kann.
