Abstract

Die EU-Osterweiterung wird den norddeutschen Bundesländern neue Absatzmöglichkeiten erschließen, der Wettbewerb wird aber auch härter. Ist Norddeutschland gerüstet, die ökonomischen Chancen zu nutzen? Kann es der Konkurrenz aus den mittel_ und osteuropäischen Ländern standhalten? Wie schneidet Norddeutschland bei einem innerdeutschen Vergleich im Hinblick auf wichtige Standortfaktoren ab?
