Personalzusatzkosten in der deutschen Wirtschaft

Abstract

Die Personalzusatzkosten im deutschen Produzierenden Gewerbe stiegen im Jahr 2002 je Arbeitnehmer und Jahr auf 20.540 Euro und erreichten damit 76,8 Prozent des Direktentgelts. In Ostdeutschland lagen sie mit 13.060 Euro um 40 Prozent unter dem westdeutschen Niveau von 21.500 Euro. Mit nunmehr 66,2 Prozent hat sich die ostdeutsche Personalzusatzkostenquote seit 1992 kaum verändert. Auch der Abstand zur westdeutschen Quote hat sich nur leicht verringert. Im deutschen Dienstleistungsgewerbe weisen die Zusatzkosten enorme Unterschiede auf: von 13.300 Euro im Einzelhandel bis zu 33.030 Euro im Versicherungsgewerbe. Aufgrund einer neuen Erhebungsmethode fallen die Quoten in allen Wirtschaftsbereichen im Vergleich zu vorhergehenden Untersuchungen etwas niedriger aus.
