Wettbewerbsfähigkeit und Internationalisierungsstrategien: Befunde einer Unternehmensbefragung

Abstract

Eine Umfrage des Instituts der deutschen Wirtschaft Köln bei 633 Unternehmen kommt zu dem Ergebnis, dass es deutschen Unternehmen zumindest teilweise gelingt, durch produzierende und vermarktende Präsenz im Ausland heimische Standortnachteile zu kompensieren. Die Konkurrenzfähigkeit der Unternehmen steigt im Ausmaß ihrer internationalen Geschäftskontakte und mit zunehmenden Umsätzen im Ausland. Deutlich schlechter als ihre eigene Wettbewerbsstärke schätzen die befragten Unternehmen hingegen die ihrer Branche und der heimischen Volkswirtschaft ein.
