Dekarbonisierung als ein Treiber des Wandels der österreichischen Kfz-Zulieferindustrie

Abstract

Die Dekarbonisierung der Fahrzeugflotten stellt die Kfz-Zulieferindustrie und somit auch den Produktionsstandort Österreich vor Herausforderungen. Das Bestreben, die CO2-Emissionen zu verringern, ist mittlerweile ein zentraler Treiber des Strukturwandels in der Kfz-Branche. Dieser Strukturwandel eröffnet zwar neue Märkte und Absatzchancen. Er birgt jedoch auch Risiken und wird zu gestrandeten Investitionen führen. Um unerwünschte Folgen hintanzuhalten, empfiehlt der vorliegende Beitrag wirtschaftspolitische Ansätze, die um Planungssicherheit, die Konsistenz des Maßnahmenmix, Diversifizierung sowie Aus- und Weiterbildung kreisen.
