Privatversicherungswirtschaft 2015 mit geringer Dynamik

Abstract

Die Prämieneinnahmen der privaten Versicherungswirtschaft nahmen im Jahr 2015 kaum zu (+0,2%), weil die Einnahmen der Lebensversicherung rückläufig waren (–1,2%) und die Umsätze in der Schaden-Unfallversicherung nahezu stabil blieben (+0,4%). Die Versicherungsdurchdringung sank in Österreich damit auf 5,1% des BIP, während auf dem europäischen Markt ein geringer Anstieg zu verzeichnen war. Die Prognosen der Prämieneinnahmen in Österreich für die Jahre 2016 und 2017 sind verhalten. Seit Anfang 2016 gelten neue Vorschriften zur Berechnung des Mindestkapitalerfordernisses für Versicherungsunternehmen. Die dazu vorgegebene risikolose Zinsstrukturkurve der europäischen Versicherungsaufsicht wird in Zukunft Schwankungen des Eigenmittelbedarfs erzeugen. Die neuen Eigenmittelvorschriften erzwingen eine konservative Veranlagungsstrategie mit niedrigen zu erwartenden Erträgen; sie werden 2016 in einem Stresstest erprobt.
