Schlüsselindikatoren zu Klimawandel und Energiewirtschaft 2015. Sonderthema: Energieeffizienz als Hebel der Dekarbonisierung

Abstract

Die längerfristige Entwicklung der vom WIFO regelmäßig publizierten Schlüsselindikatoren der Energiewirtschaft, der Klimapolitik und der Landwirtschaft zeigt zum Teil Strukturanpassungen an politische Zielvorgaben, zum Teil Abweichungen davon. Im Rahmen des Sonderthemas befasst sich der Bericht heuer mit Fragen der Energieeffizienz. Österreich steigerte die Effizienz des Energiesystems in der Vergangenheit im internationalen Vergleich unterdurchschnittlich. Neben technologischen Ansätzen kann eine Forcierung der Änderung von Konsumpraktiken und sozialen Normen zur Verbesserung der Energieeffizienz beitragen.
