Auf dem Weg in die Rezession

Abstract

Die internationale Finanzkrise wirkt sich nun voll auf die Realwirtschaft aus. Vom Export ausgehend, greift der Konjunktureinbruch auf die anderen Nachfragekomponenten über. Im III. Quartal 2008 wuchs das reale Bruttoinlandsprodukt gegenüber dem Vorquartal kaum mehr (+0,1%). Im Vorjahresvergleich verlangsamte sich das Wirtschaftswachstum merklich von 2,9% im I. Quartal auf 1,2% im III. Quartal. Im Gegensatz zu Deutschland befand sich die österreichische Wirtschaft aber im Herbst noch nicht in einer Rezession.
