The methodological aspects of formation and development of e-government of the region

Abstract

The basic methodological approaches to the creation and development of e-government of the region are presented in this article. The authors analyze the world experience of successful e-government and define the necessary conditions and stages of this process. The architecture of e-government and structure of informative-analytical portal, as well as main approaches to estimation of quantitative values of e-government projects’ implementation, worked out by the authors, are stated in this article. The descriptive analysis of e-government creation in the regions of Southern Federal District makes it possible to reveal the main problems restraining the development of this process in Southern Federal District.
