Una revisión de la literatura sobre el mercado laboral chileno en los años 70

Abstract

Este trabajo presenta una revisión de las principales contribuciones académicas a la discusión sobre la conducta del mercado laboral chileno desde 1973. Se discuten cuatro tópicos centrales: las tendencias exhibidas por la fuerza de trabajo, el problema de la caída de la demanda por trabajo, la conducta de los salarios reales y la discusión sobre la segmentación del mercado laboral. La revisión pretende aportar a una mayor discusión acerca del problema del desempleo en Chile.
