Disparites Regionales De Developpement Humain Au Maroc

Abstract

Cet article se propose de mesurer le niveau de développement humain des régions marocaines en utilisant, pour la première fois, la méthodologie de l’Indice de Développement Humain révisée en 2010. De forts écarts de développement humain entre les régions marocaines sont mis en évidence. Les disparités apparaissent cependant plus flagrantes lorsqu’on considère le niveau d’éducation et dans une moindre mesure le niveau de vie. Avec un IDH égal à 0,709, le Grand Casablanca occuperait virtuellement la 94ème place mondiale. Cette région serait classée à la 30ème position pour la santé, 99ème pour le revenu par tête et 118ème pour l’éducation. L’analyse de l’IDH non monétaire révèle que son niveau semble être davantage entamé par la composante éducation que par celle de la santé. Par rapport au Grand Casablanca, le retard de développement humain des autres régions est de 21 ans pour l’espérance de vie à la naissance, 41 ans pour la moyenne d’années de scolarisation, 17 ans pour l’es-pérance de vie scolaire et de 47 ans pour le revenu.
