Evaluation of satisfaction of individuals educated in health sciences

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to evaluate how satisfied are the individuals who were educated and are currently attending to higher education on health sciences from their education and support and to find out their opinions on how helpful was higher education for them. In this study, phenomenology approach which is one of the qualitative research methods is used. The data for the study was collected from the feedback forms filled by total of 60 individuals who got higher education (35, students and 25 graduates). It is thought that the findings of this study will contribute to the literature. There is a wide career field in health sciences. This field grows everyday with the advancing technology. The individuals who will serve in this field must be trained to continuously improve themselves and adopt to the changing technological conditions; they must, also, consider these improvements in order to reach their career goals. Therefore, higher education services have an important role for this subject. In order to make the individuals they trained in an improving and changing environment able to reach good positions, they must improve their educational standards and conditions.
