Sytuacja finansowa klubów Ekstraklasy w ujęciu metody DEA

Abstract

Celem artykułu jest opisanie wykorzystania współczynników efektywności rozwiązanych modelem super-efficiency metody Data Envelopment Analysis przy ocenie sytuacji finansowej klubów piłki nożnej, które w sezonie 2014/2015 rozgrywały mecze w najwyższej fazie rozgrywkowej w Polsce, w Ekstraklasie. W tym celu za pomocą analizy statystycznej i ekonometrycznej dokonano oceny współzależności pomiędzy współczynnikami efektywności a wskaźnikami sytuacji finansowej klubów sportowych: płynności, rentowności i zadłużenia. Z przeprowadzonych badań wynika, że pomiędzy kondycją a efektywnością istnieje silny związek. Badaną współzależność potwierdziły zarówno wyniki analizy testowania istotności różnic współczynników efektywności w dwóch grupach klubów (efektywnych i nieefektywnych), jak i analizy regresji. Kluby efektywne charakteryzują się istotnie wyższą kondycją finansową od klubów nieefektywnych. Spośród trzech wskaźników finansowych, najlepszym „dyskryminatorem” separującym kluby na dwie grupy oraz mającym największy wpływ na wzrost wielkości efektywności jest wskaźnik bieżącej płynności finansowej. Efekt pozostałych wskaźników, tj. rentowności i zadłużenia jest znacznie mniejszy. W rezultacie na podstawie wartości wyników funkcji dyskryminacyjnej określono standing finansowy klubów piłki nożnej Ekstraklasy za sezon 2014/2015.
