Teoretyczne aspekty konkurencyjności przedsiębiorstwa – w kierunku koncepcji eklektycznej?

Abstract

Celem artykułu jest dokonanie przeglądu oraz oceny przydatności najważniejszych teoretycznych koncepcji konkurencyjności przedsiębiorstwa. Uwagę skoncentrowano w szczególności na ewolucyjnym i kumulatywnym charakterze ich rozwoju. Przedstawianie ram definicyjnych poruszanego zagadnienia rozpoczęto od próby zdefiniowania pojęcia konkurencyjności przedsiębiorstwa i jego wymiarów. Omówienie wymiarów konkurencyjności przedsiębiorstwa (rozumianych jako potencjał konkurencyjny, strategia konkurencji oraz pozycja konkurencyjna) miało na celu nie tylko ustalenie wspólnych ram definicyjnych tych zmiennych, ale również zasygnalizowanie możliwych do wykorzystania w badaniach empirycznych wskaźników zmiennych. W dalszej części artykułu zaprezentowano kierunki rozwoju koncepcji konkurencyjności przedsiębiorstwa w ramach dwóch ujęć (pozycjonowania i zasobowego), sygnalizując różnice występujące w stosowanej w ich wypadku terminologii oraz treści pojęć. Dla obu omawianych nurtów zasygnalizowano również wynikające z analizy dorobku teoretycznego zależności zachodzące pomiędzy wymiarami konkurencyjności. Trzecia z zaprezentowanych koncepcji stanowi próbę przedstawienia eklektycznego ujęcia łączącego cechy zarówno nurtu pozycjonowania, jak i zasobowego, a jednocześnie uwzględniającego charakter zależności występujących pomiędzy analizowanymi wymiarami konkurencyjności w ujęciu dynamicznym.
