Teoría Financiera Y Crisis: Una Revisión De La Racionalidad Del Individuo Desde La Teoria Del Comportamiento

Abstract

Analizamos la cuestión relativa a los fallos del mercado y de los mecanismos de regulación en la crisis financiera iniciada en septiembre de 2007, teniendo en cuenta el origen de las crisis financieras, la crisis de la teoría financiera y la teoría del comportamiento. Concluimos que la experiencia de las últimas décadas nos ha demostrado que la regulación y la supervisión siempre se mueven un paso por detrás de la capacidad innovadora de los mercados financieros. Los reguladores y los supervisores no han sabido afrontar los nuevos retos, evidenciando su incapacidad y desconocimiento ante los nuevos instrumentos financieros, verdaderos detonantes de la crisis. Precisamos nuevas teorías que nos ayuden a comprender los errores pasados y que nos proporcionen un entorno estable que nos permita construir un futuro mejor.
