Abstract

Связь между экономическим ростом и динамикой спроса на энергию играет существенную роль как для ретроспективного анализа мировой экономики, так и для долгосрочного прогнозирования ее развития. В работе рассматриваются характер и направление данной взаимосвязи с учетом разнородности экономических систем в различных регионах мира и влияния фактора мирового кризиса. Несмотря на активные исследования этой взаимосвязи в зарубежной литературе, их результаты не позволяют делать бесспорные и однозначные выводы. Авторы показывают, что структурные сдвиги в мировой экономике, новые тенденции в сфере повышения энергетической эффективности, предложения энергоресурсов и цен на них обусловливают необходимость регулярной переоценки связи между ростом экономики и потреблением энергоресурсов.
