In article the new approach to transport (as component of a logistic chain) within commerce logistics, in different aspects is considered: - from the point of view of overall performance of separate means of transport; - from a position of the organization of transportations «from a door to a door» (from the consignor to the recipient); - taking into account interests of clients, i.e. consideration not only the main transportation, but also processing, storage, packing, unpacking and giving of materials to machines in shop together with accompanying information streams. Such approach promotes an optimum choice of transport services as quality of transportations, as a rule, is more reflected in the general expenses, than cost of transportations.
