In connection with the 20th anniversary of the beginning of a new stage of economic identity in Russia and the economiccrisis, which undoubtedly will affect the economic identity of the leading players in the world market. An attempt to analyze thedevelopment of post-Soviet geopolitical space within the project "The Commonwealth of Independent States" Therefore, the analysis ofidentity formation in Russia will be held in a global sense and in a regional sense. Regional meaning involves Russia, as part of theCommonwealth of Independent States, South Federal District and the North Caucasus Federal District, as the subjects of theFederation of Russia.
