El proceso europeo de integración económica y sus efectos sobre la estructura productiva: eficiencia económica versus cohesión económica y social. El caso de España

Abstract

Esta comunicación sistematiza los efectos principales del proceso europeo de integración económica sobre el sector productivo español. Plantea también la dificultad de combinar los objetivos de cohesión económica y social y de optimización de la estructura productiva para maximizar la eficiencia económica. Y, por último, argumenta que una Unión Europea con un elevado grado de cohesión económica y social requiere, necesariamente, la definición de una política industrial activa y de una política redistributiva europeas.
