Abstract

[eng] Wage and interest rate policies in france est the ws : is it sensible to keep the same in the future ?. . We summarize the economie evolution and the wage and interest rate policies pursued in France in the 80's, we examine the recent developments and we build a stylized theoretical model to represent the mechanisms at work. The basic issue is the possibility of maintaining in the future the policies chosen eight years ago.
