Abstract

[eng] Galiani and the apologue : a bicentennial article . . Galiani's seminal contribution to theoretical and applied economies uses the apologue as a teaching and leaming process. The Delia Moneta includes an original theory of value and equilibrium that is easy of access thanks to rigorous didactic apologues. The Dialogues sur le commerce des blés are organized as a chain of heuristic apologues that proves economic policy must be pragmatic. [fre] En marge d'un bicentenaire : Galiani et l'apologue. . Ferdinando Galiani (1728-1787), précurseur indiscuté en économie théorique et appliquée, et l'apologue, procédé reconnu d'enseignement et d'apprentissage, forment un couple fécond. Le Délia Moneta contient une théorie originale de la valeur et de l'équilibre qui est présentée, d'une façon accessible à tous, par des apologues didactiques logiquement rigoureux. Les Dialogues sur le commerce des blés sont constitués par un enchaînement d'apologues heuristi­ques qui, alternant élaboration utile du concret et abstraction simplificatrice stérile, justifie un choix en faveur du pragmatisme et contre le dogmatisme en matière de politique économique.
