Abstract

[fre] L’objectif de cet article est d’analyser les tendances à l’oeuvre dans le secteur mutualiste de l’assurance, et de proposer quelques réflexions sur les rapprochements entre secteur mutualiste et secteur coté. Pour ce faire, l’auteur analyse trois enjeux, qui concernent toutes les entreprises d’assurance, mais qui ont une résonance particulière pour les assurances mutuelles : la question de la diversification et de la taille critique, la question de la gouvernance, et la question du respect des normes réglementaires. . Classification JEL : G22 [eng] This article aims to analyse mutual insurance’s trends and to propose thoughts about relationship between mutual and quoted insurance. So the author analyses three stakes which concern the all insurance firms, but particularly mutual insurance : the diversification and critical size stake, the governance stake and the regulations stake. .
