Abstract

[fre] Après plusieurs années de préparation, l'Insee a définitivement adopté, en 2003, une nouvelle organisation de l'Enquête Emploi, dite « en continu ». Ce basculement est le résultat d'un long processus. Il ne bouleversera pas la manière dont ces enquêtes mesurent l'emploi et le chômage : la continuité des principales séries sera globalement respectée. Il n'en s'agit pas moins d'un changement majeur aux enjeux multiples. Le présent dossier d'Économie et Statistique présente ce nouvel outil et quelques unes de ses implications. Il est l'une des pièces d'un dispositif d'accompagnement du passage à la nouvelle enquête qui mobilise les divers supports de communication de l'Insee : Insee Première pour la présentation des premiers résultats de l'année 2002 et du premier trimestre 2003, Note de Conjoncture et document de travail pour la présentation technique de la nouvelle méthodologie d'estimation du taux de chômage mensuel, nouveaux CD-Rom de tableaux de l'enquête ou de fichiers détaillés.
