Abstract

Linear least-square method and non-linear method of Freundlich and Langmuir were studied in an experiment for the adsorption of lead onto sugarcane bagasse using different temperatures. Isotherm parameters obtained from non-linear method was the same but differed when using linear least – square method. Highest coefficient of determination was obtained from Langmuir-1 compared other linear equations from Langmuir. Non – linear method of Freundlich model exhibits a higher coefficient of determination compared with linear least – square method.
