Abstract

As a reaction to the death of Titina Ferrigno, the oldest artist of the craft district of Naples, along the two decumani, the article explores and gives an original view of this hearth of Naples where craftsmanship is a collective heritage, a value of the whole community, which must be defended and protected, and that becomes nowadays a major tourist destination within the city as well as internationally.
