Abstract

The paper analyses the applicability of some network governance models to propose appropriate management solutions to counter the phenomenon of casual management of small cultural sites. Through a literature review, the study examines the relationships between different management models and the organizational performance of networks. This study investigates the relationship between different management models and the organizational performance of networks, with a particular focus on the management of small cultural sites, drawing on the experiences of the Hermitage of Santo Spirito a Majella and Bagni di Petriolo. The comparative analysis shows that management is determined by the role of the actors in the network and the nature and objectives of each actor.
