Le aziende FinTech e il «rischio» di contagio nel mercato finanziario: un modello epidemico

Abstract

Le aziende FinTech sono diventate grandi nodi nella nuova rete relazionale: ciò implica, in virtù dell’elevato numero di connessioni, l’aumento esponenziale del rischio concreto di «infettare» altre entità finanziarie, innescando così rischi di natura sistemica. Gli autori si propongono di simulare/studiare le caratteristiche di trasmissione del rischio big FinTech utilizzando il modello epidemico SEIR, con lo scopo di migliorare la comprensione tra le organizzazioni finanziarie competenti e le autorità di regolamentazione sui grandi rischi FinTech, al fine di scongiurare crisi finanziarie sistemiche.
