L'economia di Ancona dall'Unita al XXI secolo. Prerogative, vincoli, illusioni

Abstract

Obiettivo di questo paper Š ragionare intorno alle fondamentali prerogative dell'economia di Ancona dall'Unita' d'Italia fino ai nostri giorni. Il capoluogo delle Marche ha a lungo coltivato l'ambizione di trasformarsi in un centro industriale. L'analisi della letteratura esistente sull'argomento e di alcuni dati statistici consente di osservare come una serie di vincoli di varia natura (geogra ca, finanziaria ecc.) abbia puntualmente rivelato essere illusoria questa ambizione. Restando fedele al percorso ben visibile gia' nella seconda parte dell'Ottocento, oggi Ancona Š una citta' a scarsa concentrazione industriale e sbilanciata sul terziario, ripartito fra commercio e burocrazia.
