Egyetemi kormányzás. Merre tart Európa?

Abstract

A globalizáció hatásai a felsőoktatási intézmények számára is radikálisan új környezetet teremtettek. Megváltozott az egyetem, az állam és a tudáspiac viszonya - ennek hatására a fejlett országok egyetemei maguk is átalakultak. A felsőoktatásban elindult változások az ezredfordulóra Magyarországot is elérték. A tömegoktatás elterjedése olyan bonyolult és nagyméretű szervezeteket hozott létre, amelyek a régi vezetési modellekkel már nem irányíthatók. Újszerű irányítási filozófiák és újszerű irányítási formák jöttek létre, amelyek a hatalommegosztás más területeken már létező modelljeit transzformálják a felsőoktatás sajátos viszonyaira. A tanulmány a környezeti változásokat és az arra adott válaszokat, a modern egyetem új irányítási modelljét (az egyetemi kormányzást) vizsgálja, különös tekintettel a magyarországi intézményi reform kérdéseire.
