Abstract

A gazdasági hatalom témaköre kapcsolatrendszerénél és hatásainál fogva mindig borzolja az elemzők fantáziáját. Századunk végére a szellemi erők, a tőkék, az anyagi források soha nem látott mértékű koncentrációja folyik a világban, és a globalizálódás azt mutatja, hogy e koncentrációk nemcsak az országhatárokat, hanem a gazdaságipolitikai régiók határait is átlépték. A magáncégek, az országok és a régiók világméretű versenyét kétféle sajátos háló szövi át, nevezetesen a stratégiai szövetségek és a globális oligopóliumok hálója. Ezek terjedését kezdetben egyes kormányok vagy politikai erők ösztönözték és támogatták, s mára e hálók egyre inkább önállósodnak és olyan hatalmasok, hogy a politikai támogatás nélkül is terjednek. A tanulmány összefoglalja a verseny e két új formájának leglényegesebb ismérveit, legfontosabb megjelenési formáit, és utal arra a sokféle - ma még többségében megválaszolhatatlan - kihívásra és kérdésre, amely e két új versenyformával kapcsolatban felmerül.
