Abstract

A bérmunkázását az 1970-es évek gyakorlata alapján hosszú ideig negatív megítélés övezte. A leggyakoribb kritikai észrevételek közé tartozott a bérmunkavállalók egyoldalú függése, a technikaátadás alacsony szintje és a bérmunkázók elszigeteltsége a gazdaság egészétől. Napjainkban a bérmunkázás jellege világszerte megváltozott. Egy sor - Magyarországon is tapasztalható - pozitív externális hatás jelent meg. Empirikus adatfelvételekre támaszkodva ebben a tanulmányban a pozitív hatásokat vizsgáljuk. A bérmunkát kényszerből választó, sodródó vállalatok a piacokról kiléptek, az első felmérés időpontjáig, 1996-ig. Ezért a vizsgált mintában zömmel olyan cégek szerepeltek, amelyek a bérmunkázást alkalmazkodási és modernizációs stratégiájuk elemeként tudatosan választották. Ezek számos pozitív, alkalmazkodásukat segítő hatást tudtak kiaknázni.
